Jason Bartlett
Jason is a traffic and transportation engineer with over 25 years' experience working with planners, developers and local authorities. It's not all about the car - by considering all modes of transport Jason finds efficient, effective solutions to manage demand and suit the job at hand.
Jason is an experienced road safety auditor, reviewing transport designs so they meet standards and guidelines, with the aim of reducing the frequency and severity of accidents. Jason has managed a number of successful projects which have significant urban design and public consultation elements. Jason can develop these projects through the design and implementation phases. It is this experience that ensures that a concept design can become a successful project. In his spare time Jason prefers to get off-road and onto some smooth-flowing singletrack. |
Transport Assessments
If your Resource Consent application needs a Transport Assessment, Jason can help get the result you need.
By considering the actual parking needs for iFly indoor skydiving and its location close to the town centre, Jason was able to establish a realistic parking demand. This allowed iFly to make the best use of the site. |
Road Safety Audits
Everyone benefits from improved road safety and Jason is committed to working with developers like Shotover Country to reduce safety risks.
One way to achieve this is through a Road Safety Audit. By reviewing proposed designs the team is able to identify potential safety concerns for all road users, from pedestrians to truck drivers. |
Design Advice
The first step in any development is good advice. Jason provided comprehensive design advice for the state highway roundabout at the Five Mile shopping centre.
By working with you from the outset he can help design roading and access that meets national and local standards, meaning no surprises during the approvals process. |
