Graham Robinson

Graham is a civil engineer with over 30 years' experience across transport, water and forestry engineering.  His key skills lie in project team management; construction monitoring and contract administration.  

​By coordinating resources and skills across the various teams involved in any project, he can provide the appropriate level of resource to deliver the best value to the client.  ​Graham has a proven track record of delivering projects on time, with an emphasis on buildability and cost effective solutions.

Graham spent his younger years building and flying hang-gliders in Chile and he's never lost his love for the great outdoors.

Contract Administration

The management of any contract requires timely input into many consultation and construction decisions.  

The Glenda Drive Intersection Improvement contract was no exception and Graham used his skills in this area to bring the project to a successful conclusion.  His ability to respond immediately and visit site at short notice were big factors in resolving any issues.​

Programme Management

Managing the multiple tasks to be completed by the various teams involved in any project could be described as ‘herding cats’ - possible but difficult.

Graham has the drive to see such projects to completion. Take the Around the Mountains Cycle Trail, a multi-stage, challenging and high-profile project which will make a fine addition to NZ’s cycling experience.​

Construction Monitoring

Site observation is a vital part of the Quality Assurance process and together with big picture monitoring of design and construction can help minimize bottlenecks and provide opportunities for timely design improvements. ​

Graham has a wealth of experience in this area, including assisting the contractor for the new Wakatipu High School to achieve the required Quality Assurance for all earthworks.
